Dolphin Swim
The ultimate experience; 30 minutes program, hugging, kissing, feeding and swimming with 2 dolphins in deep water. The highlight of the swim is the dorsal pull by 2 dolphins.

Dolphin Encounter
30 minutes program is ideal for non-swimmers and families with young children. Standing in waist deep water to interact up close and personal exchanging hugs and kisses with these fantastic mammals.

Sea Lion Encounter
These very funny and playful animals are experts in making your laugh. Meet them up close, in our interaction pool, where you are provided with an opportunity to touch, feed, pet and play with these wonderful animals. Get a kiss, a hug and tons of memories to last forever.

Shark and Sting Ray Encounter
For those who say “only action is satisfaction or no risk no fun” the Shark and Stingray encounter is most definitely for you. These Sharks and Stingray have been trained to be safely fed and handled by humans.

Las Aromas is located in Santiago de los Caballeros, the second biggest city on the island and less than an hour drive from Puerto Plata. This course has become the most popular, as our clients enjoy the beautiful trip to Santiago; a one hour scenic drive to Las Aromas through the rolling hills of the tobacco fields.

The golf course is situated on the outskirts of Santiago and has several interesting golf holes such as Hole Four, where you tee off with the city as a spectacular backdrop. The par 70, 6,033 yard course is hilly and has fantastic views of the Cibao Valley. The fairways and greens are in great shape; a good test of golf for all players.

PLAYA GRANDE GOLF COURSE

Playa Grande is a truly outstanding championship golf course on an unusually beautiful parcel of about 2,000 acres on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic, straddling the towns of Rio San Juan and Cabrera.

The property has great topography; with hills and cliffs and 5 miles of exposure to the Atlantic Ocean, including a wide, mile-long beach. It is lush and undeveloped, with old trees and Royal Palms. On the western coast, Robert Trent Jones built his final golf course; perched above the cliffs, it offers breathtaking views on the ocean and the lush country side, making it one of the most exciting golf courses in the Caribbean.

Underground springs supply abundant fresh water and the neighboring land is made of small farms and forest.

PLAYA DORADA GOLF COURSE | PUERTO PLATA

It has been jokingly said that, “The sun never sets on a Robert Trent Jones golf course.”

A true Robert Trent Jones Sr. golf course! With water hazards on 8 holes, troubling par 3’s and the Caribbean breeze; this course is a challenge for all golfers. Playa Dorada Golf Course is located in the Playa Dorada complex, just outside of Puerto Plata.

As a resort course it is relatively flat and considered to be forgiving, but it can be a challenge in the Caribbean breeze; you must use your course management skills to score well. Par 72 with 18 holes; The Playa Dorada Golf Course was founded in 1984 and designed by the golf architect Robert Trent Jones Sr. The course has a wide fairway, four greens by the sea; five greens are set bordering inland water. Around the course area there are many pleasant hotels, some of which are located directly on the beach.

Dominicana Jones Safari Adventure: Participate in this unique adventure; exploring the interior of the Dominican Republic. Cross rivers and pass through small villages with lots of Caribbean flavour, in lush evergreen valleys you will learn about the local tropical plants and fruits. Among other stops is a visit to a school, a market place, and a Dominican family, where you get in touch with the real Dominican life. The highlight of the day is the visit to the 27 “Damajagua waterfalls.” crystal clear water comes down from the mountains, forming small and large caves and canyons with stalagmites and stalactites in a thousand colours, cascading down into natural swimming pools. Swim in the refreshing pool of the first waterfall or explore the upper falls with the local guides. There are alternative activities for those who don’t wish to tour the falls.

Outback Safari: Visit a typical Dominican home, meet the family that live there & enjoy a drink of freshly made coffee with them. Pass by local schools & villages and see friendly Dominicans smiling & waving at you. Swim & cool off in a river with crystal clear water.. Shop at a local Rum shack with local products like Rum, Cigars, Coffee & lots more – All at the local prices! Enjoy a picnic/ buffet style lunch and a breathtaking merengue show before you relax on a peaceful jungle river boat ride. Walk through a fruit plantation to see fruit growing in its natural environment; you’ll even get to taste fresh fruit and sugarcane. See native animals like crocodiles, iguanas, turtles & more at our mini riverside ranch. Have fun Boogie Boarding on a 15 mile long secluded beach or just relax with the Caribbean sunshine on your face and a cocktail in your hand. Tip Top – Tropical Catamaran Excursion: This beautiful catamaran with white sails offers an unforgettable sailing experience to Sosua Bay or Luperon, for a day of sea, sun, and snorkelling with open bar and animation. A mouth watering lunch with dominican specialties is provided for.

Paradise Island: Be Robinson Crusoe for the Day! Don’t miss the most idyllic spot on the north coast. Speed boats whisk you over to the fantastic deserted island, Paradise Island is close to the coast of Punta Rucia with white powdery sand, turquoise transparent waters and a delightful sea breeze. Discover the most beautiful reef in the Caribbean on a snorkelling tour with a guide and have fish eating out of your hands. You will also explore the lust green mangroves and learn about the wonders of nature in the National Park. Enjoy lunch in a waterfront restaurant on the unspoiled beach of a typical Dominican fishing village.

Blue Lagoon Safari: Take a refreshing swim in the crystal clear blue waters of the blue lagoon, swim in the waterfalls of Cabrera and visit the fashionable resort of Cabarete. Along the way sample the couleur locale with typical Dominican sweets and drinks, a visit to plantation, play dominican music instruments, wear our sombreros and visit a tropical zoo with birds, crocs and tame tarantulas. Lunch is included and this tour is fun for young and old.

Puerto Plata and Cable Car: Puerto Plata is a handsome city that showcases a fabulous display of Victorian style architecture, and what better way to see the town than by cable car? The changing views of the town and surrounding area make this a popular and unique way to oversee the land that Columbus discovered. Round off the day by visiting the Amber Museum, a Rum factory and the San Felipe fortress, built to protect the city from pirates! Discover the past and present of this fascinating area and shop for local gifts and souvenirs.

River Rafting: Maximum adventure and fun for everyone. Hop on a raft and enjoy the cool waters of the Yaque del Norte River, the longest in the Caribbean. In the company of professional guides, you will go through canyons and rapids to feel a fantastic adrenaline rush. You will discover places unknown to most. Action, nature and an once-in-a-lifetime adventure awaits. The tour includes basic training and the essential wetsuit, life vest, protective helmet. Breakfast and a plentiful lunch are included.

Zip Lining: (Yasika Adventures) Live the Thrill! Only a 30 minute drive along a scenic route from Puerto Plata is a specialized park for the latest in thrills – Zip Lining! Once at the park, highly experienced guides will train you on the security system and installation of the specialized equipment, as well as the details of the trail. This is where the adrenalin starts to flow. When launched off the first of 10 platforms and 8 cables which make up the system, you are suspended in the air between 100 and 300 meters, with speeds of up to 30 mph and heights of up to 100 feet above the ground. The rush of adrenalin combines the feel of the wind and incredible views which result in an unforgettable experience. Guests should wear comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes, pants or longer shorts are recommended, as well as sun block and insect repellent. No skirts. Long hair should be tied back to avoid entanglement. Only Cameras with secure retaining strips are allowed on the tour.

Monster Bike – 4 Wheelers! or Funny Buggy Adventures: An adventurous half day tour, perfect to get to know the beautiful country side. Let the engines roar and cross through sugar cane fields, rivers and rough terrain. Visit a Haitian Village and see different plantations: bananas, coffee and various fruits. Stop in a typical ranch for some refreshments and pick up some souvenirs then clean of the dust swimming at Bergantin beach.

Santiago – Jarabacoa: Santiago is the 2nd largest city on the island and offers unique opportunities from ceramics to cigars! See how handcrafted cigars are made as you look over the shoulder of a nimble fingered Dominican cutting, rolling and finishing one of the 250 cigars that he makes daily. Take a whistle stop tour around the ceramics factory where you will see the famous faceless doll of the Dominican being made. Drive through the winding hills and mountains of Jarabacoa and meander through a steep valley, take a jeep ride to the waterfalls explore on horseback where you can cool off or just sit and relax amidst the spectacular mountains. Lunch and soft drinks are included.

Santo Domingo Culture – Colonial City: Santo Domingo is the first city built in the new world by European settlers, including Columbus’s brother, Bartholomeo, and his son Diego Columbus and a great part of the original settlement has remained the way it was approx. 500 years ago. You will be back in the past as you walk the colonial city and you will see the first street in the Americas; Calle de Las Damas, the oldest fortress in the Americas, the house of Nicolas de Ovando, governor of Santo Domingo in the early 1500’s and a ruthless warrior against the Taino Indians and you will visit the famous first cathedral of the Americas.( with dress code!) Your tour also includes a visit to the famous 3 Ojos; an underground world of caves and rivers, a lunch and is accompanied by a professional dominican guide.
